Tip 2: Anticipate

Anticipate (rather than reacting)

The ability to anticipate goes hand in hand with preparation.

Preparation for contacting the volleyball is at least as important as what we do when we make contact. The time we spend actually in contact with the ball is a minute fraction of the game. If you are ill-equipped to anticipate where the ball is going, the odds that you will make good contact with the ball diminish significantly.

Bump. Set. Chill.
